Sunday 8 July, 10.30am-4pm
After last year’s success, WoodFest will be back again this year, filling the Wood with crafts, entertainment and other delights for all the family. Try new ‘old’ skills, like weaving willow, turning a clay pot, traditional wood working and bushcraft.
Look out for the Friends’ marquee where you will be able to meet the team, learn more about what we do and become a member if you’re not already. You’ll also be able to buy our Chopwell Charcoal, made in the Wood with the help of Chopwell Trail Builders, so you can stock up for your summer BBQs!
Entry is £2 for adults and free for children; car parking is £5 – pay on the day.
WoodFest is organised by the Land of Oak and Iron, in partnership with Forestry Commission and the Friends of Chopwell Wood.
